If you would like to work on real challenges at institutions in Jena, such as the Friedrich Schiller University or the University and State Library (ThULB), and improve your own data skills in the process, then this event is just right for you.
During the three-day event, you will work in an interdisciplinary project team on one of the challenges. The teams will be supervised by mentors who will help you with content-related and technical problems.
Whether you already have a lot of experience in the field of data or are just curious and would like to solve real-world problems, students from all disciplines are welcome, regardless of their previous knowledge.
During the first two days of the event (March 24 - 25), all participants will have the opportunity to get to know methods and tools for handling data in various workshops as part of our Datathon Bootcamp, which can be helpful when working on the challenges.
Further information on the challenges, the schedule and registration can be found on the event website.
